You see, I’ve realized that what I can offer your business is my geekery, combined with the fact that I know how to teach technical stuff in a non-scary and simple way. I love small business, I enjoy entrepreneurs, and I know most of them need a hand with the technology stuff. And most of them aren’t making the web the business builder that it should be.
Entrepreneurs can’t afford IT departments, or often even marketing managers. They can’t get caught in analysis paralysis. They need to pick the right tools, proven ones that will work, to get the job done. When it comes to marketing, the web is a bit of a minefield. There are so many free lunches promised that if a fraction of it were true, you could eat for a lifetime. There are some great free or low-cost tools out there, but how does the average entrepreneur find them?
Leverage the Web
You see, the web should be working for you, not sucking your energy. And yes, you need to learn some things to make that happen, but you don’t need to make it your life. Learn how to use technology to market your business, and do it consistently, and the results will be all you hope for. Your website should be working to build your business 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for about $10 per month. If it’s not, you need to learn how to make it happen, because most of your competitors aren’t doing it right yet.
